Stopped in with a client to have lunch, and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience from the moment we walked in. We waited a good amount of time before the server/bartender finally came over to ask what we wanted. She then told us that we needed to provide our driver’s licenses just to be there. We’re all grown adults and we had no intention of drinking during our lunch hour. When we explained that we were simply there to eat lunch, we were still told that we needed to show our IDs to be in the establishment. The entire interaction came across as though she either didn’t want to wait on us or didn’t want us there. We eventually decided it wasn’t worth the hassle and left. This was my first time back at Woody’s Hideaway in years, and unfortunately, it left a very bad impression. I would strongly recommend that management look into what happened and speak with the employee involved. If there is a legitimate policy requiring identification from customers who are simply coming in to eat, that policy should be clearly communicated. If there isn’t, then management needs to address why customers were treated this way. We came in expecting to have a quick lunch and spend some money at

We had a great time visiting midland . My daughter showed us this awesome place to , watch pre season football shoot some pool , and enjoy the great music . The dj was doing his thang, had the place moving and groovin . The staff was fun and polite . Our server was very nice and made sure we were taken care of . The drinks were flowin with a great cocktail menu , the food was pretty good as well. Our server was named Heaven I beleive , she was great , great service very professional and friendly . This place had plenty of pool tables and televisions everywhere . Thank you for a great atmosphere, we will be back.

Service is always amazing, but specifically by Gaby! Every time I come in she makes sure I have the best time. She’s always so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely makes you feel taken care of. She has such a great personality and always goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is having a good time. You can tell she really cares about her customers and loves what she does. I always look forward to coming in and seeing her! Definitely ask for Gaby if you want great service and an even better experience.

The Ultimate Hangout with Top-Tier Service! I visited Woody’s Hideaway in Midland last weekend with a group of friends, and it was hands down the best night out we’ve had in months. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by our server, Heaven, who immediately made us feel welcome. The bar was bustling (it was a UFC fight night), but Heaven juggled her tables like a pro—we never waited long for our drinks, and she even checked in to make sure we had everything we needed while we played pool. The spot itself is an absolute gem: it has an urban, lively atmosphere with tons of games (pool tables, ping pong, darts) and a massive screen for watching sports. The food was a pleasant surprise—way better than typical bar fare. We ordered the lemon pepper wings and tater tots, which were sensational. Even with the crowd, the staff kept things running smoothly. We’ll definitely be back, and we’re already telling all our friends to ask for Heaven when they go. If you’re looking for a fun, welcoming spot with great service and endless entertainment, Woody’s Hideaway is a must visit!

Came for the pool but stayed because Heaven has better aim with her service than I do lining up a shot. She’s fast, keeps the vibe easy and fun from the moment you get a table. Honestly, she’s the real hidden gem at Woody’s Hideaway.
